Customer Relationship Manager with Agreement Document Generation Client had an existing contract generation system based on a legacy platform and needed to be modernized. Requirements for replacement system: 1) Cloud-based with mobile access for external sales groups, 2) Maintain existing workflow/notification process, 3) Secure mobile access, 4) Complete contracts with external companies with a simple web interface, 5) Retain all existing data. The Compass Solution The existing program was developed in house and was modified over the years. It required special software to be installed on internal clients in order to be used. The UI was dated and not optimal for today’s laptop and desktop screens. Servers were required at each branch location, whereas the modern methodologies are cloud-based. We replaced the older business system with a new interface running on the Compass platform. The UI has been improved by a single page design rather than multiple layers to find relevant information. The design provides for mobile access so profiles can be updated and complex contracts can be generated from anywhere. The existing workflow was replaced with the Compass Workflow Engine, our low code feature that allows for modifications by an administrator. When comparing the conversion to the Compass platform the client saved months of development compared to other platform options. The system runs on the Compass Cloud and no longer requires internal administration or server resources.
